In 2019 - 2020 the CIECA Topical Group “Setting Standards for the Evaluation of Medical Fitness to Drive” finalized ten reports about medical fitness to drive procedures in Europe. The reports based on comprehensive information gathered in 2018 – 2019 via questionnaires sent to 31 CIECA member countries (EU/EEA + Switzerland) focus on nine medical categories: General procedures, Dependency, Vision, Cognitive disturbances, Diabetes - group 2 licences, Sleep apnoea and narcolepsy, Mental disorders, Neurodevelopmental conditions, Comorbidity. The final summarizing report was finalized in August 2020.
